Cluzel climbs up 18 positions -

Great comeback for the young DARK DOG rider

Mugello, Italy: Very important race for the NGM Forward Racing Team which had the great pleasure to welcome a vast number of guests during this weekend on the historical track of Mugello.

But even in Italy, as in the previous races, the weather played a very crucial and unpredictable role. In fact, the qualifying which took place after a warm summer rain, penalized both riders of the team and forced them to start from the back of the starting grid, after promising practice sessions under dry conditions.

But this handicap was just an extra motivation for Jules Cluzel who finished his comeback race in 15th position, after passing eighteen competitors.

Less fortune for Alex Baldolini who did not finish his race, retiring in the 12th lap because of an unusual behavior of his front tyre.

DARK DOG and the NGM Forward Racing Team are looking positively into the future and are hoping to gain some important points during the next race on 17th of July in Sachsenring, Germany!

Alex Baldolini, 25

"During the whole weekend I was not able to find the right feeling with my bike and for sure starting from the 26th position I could not expect to do a fantastic performance, but on the other side during the last races I was always able to recover a lot. Unfortunately today I had to retire so that I could not finish the race."

Jules Cluzel, 16

15th position
"This time I did one of the best starts of my career. I was able to climb up 14 positions in just one lap and for sure I had the right pace to end up in the top ten if I would not have started from the eleventh row. But even we took only one point today I'm really happy about the support of my team. This is something really important to me as it calms me and gives the awareness that we still were not able to show our whole potential."
